About Fiona I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor, a mother, an instructor, and a clinical supervisor. I've been connecting with others and caring for people throughout my life. I've been driven by parts seeking to understand what is going on inside of others since I was a child. I've worked in schools, agencies, and my own private practice for the past four years.
There have been two profound shifts in my work over the course of my career. The first came in 2012 when I had my first child. This experience left me grappling with a complex intersection of emotions, identity loss, capitalist policies, physical pain, and internalized patriarchal beliefs about my worth. My own challenges navigating this stage of development sparked an interest and professional path towards a speciality in Perinatal Mental Health. |
